Your own MP carries the most weight. Adding the ministers responsible puts the same message in front of the people who write the budget.
Offices count identical letters as one. The two or three sentences you add yourself are what makes staff read it.

Parliamentary offices only act on letters from a named constituent at a real address in the riding.
Sending it yourself carries a little more weight, because it arrives from your own address. Either way the letter is the same.
We do not keep your letter. If you open it in your own email app, nothing you typed ever reaches our servers. If you ask us to send it for you, we hold it only until you click the confirmation link we email you — then we send it and delete it. Nothing is shared with anyone but the recipients you chose.
